Rich Dad, Poor Dad
The book Rich Dad, Poor Dad was born from a valuable lesson American Robert Kiyosaki learnt as a child. Richard’s book Rich Dad, Poor Dad, chronicled his childhood. Richard wrote about his two dads: one rich and one poor.
Robert's biological father, (Poor Dad) was educated, and had a good paying job. Yet he thought he was poor. Robert’s best friend's father, (Rich Dad) was a high-school dropout. He enjoyed life and always found a way to afford everything he wanted. Robert saw that his poor Dad's attitude closed his mind to the possibility of financial freedom. Robert’s biological father, with his good job and education, still died a poor man. Dropout Dad's wealthy attitude opened his mind and eventually he achieved total financial freedom.
Robert Kiyosaki‘s success has been worldwide and today he has a popular website, travels lecturing and has written many more books. He offers a course in financial freedom designed for the average person. He argues that the rich have access to financial education and use tools for success that they learnt from their wealthy parents. This gives them an edge as adults. It is Robert’s dream to pass on what he learnt to anyone who will listen.
